First Lady Michelle Obama welcomed 51 Washington, D.C. students to the White House to celebrate the contributions black women have to dance. The students participated in a day long dance workshop with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater’s Judith Jamison, Debbie Allen, the Dance Theatre of Harlem’s Virginia Johnson, and Hip-Hop choreographer Fatima Robinson.
